I had my second-round interview yesterday and I think it went well, but I'm worried that I didn't do enough to sell myself while talking to the hiring manager. As for the mattress situation, I was in the same boat as you a month ago. I ended up buying a new one and I LOVE IT! I daydream about it at work - LOL. It's called the Sealy Posturepedic Moonrise Bay (comes in plush or firm -- I have firm) with built-in memory foam. I think the queen size (with boxspring) was $799. The thing about mattresses though is the companies change the names for every store in order to prevent consumers from comparison shopping. So as a starting point, maybe you can check out Sealy Posturepedics and go from there...

Do you find that the memory foam keeps you warmer than a mattress without it? Bill usually is really warm when he sleeps and often sweats a lot. I've heard that memory foam doesn't let body heat dissipate as easily.

The memory foam doesn't make me feel warm. I forgot to mention that the memory foam is not the top layer. It is buried under a few things. So it provides cushiony comfort without the heat. I'm really being technical as you can tell! :)

we have a king size mattress that is like a tempurpedic but has a base layer of coils as well. we bought our mattress from a local place and it was not one of the more well-known brands, but we've had it for over 3 years now and have no problems out of it. i cant' remember the name...it's either queen or princess something.
that will be a pretty blanket!
