On a lighter note, Gracie, our neighbor's golden retriever puppy (who is almost a year old) has been in heat for the past few weeks.  Last night, she and Dakota were playing together in the neighbor's fenced yard and when I went to get Dakota, they wouldn't move.  They were butt to butt and neither was moving an inch, which is very unusual for both

never say never....there is this little scruffy dog that "visits" Gracie frequently. he's less than half her size and somehow he manages...it seems that gracie is a little slut, just trying to get it where she can.
