Good point. Have to change that tape.

But egads, "slowly" sure doesn't seem to convey the snail's pace of progress I'm making. Once upon a time, I felt poised to set the world on fire. And then it didn't happen. And now it's years later, and still no flames. Then again, can't exactly flame out this way, either. Guess it's about tenacity after all.

Thank you for "If I Had to Say", it's really powerful. I've come across your journal in search for interesting posts on Shakespeare (whose works I really love and translate into my native Russian) and soon found out that it's not only Shakespeare but almost every topic you touch upon is as interesting for me to read, you do it great with words. And your own poetry is wonderful, thank you so much for sharing it.
