So staticy noise = hologram? I wish I understood half of what was in that article, but for now, I'm going to cling to the simplest idea is probably the correct one (with the understanding that the whole hologram thing is not the simplest idea), and cover my ears, singing la la la.

Your brain doesn't really hurt, since you are a hologram generated from somewhere far, far away. Wherever that is, the original you has a brain that hurts, and is projecting it here. Or something.
