October snowstorm
Someone somewhere is getting the weather schedule all wrong. Fall is named for leaves, people, not snow. Get it right. Here we were, at the end of October, and most of the trees not only still had their leaves but mostly still had green leaves. Then, October 29th, snow fell. Health, or Lack Thereof
I'm thinking of getting a Wii Fit (Plus?). I've never liked to exercise, but I had a lot of fun playing around with it when my mom got hers a few Christmases back. The upsides: I know it's fun (for a bit, at least), my boyfriend and roommate would also use it, and it's exercise that I wouldn't otherwise get. Bargain Shopping
My grandmother wins for best bargain shopping this year. She bought an 82-piece set of discontinued Valmont Royal Wheat china for $45. Eighty two. There's a 46-piece set of the same on eBay for a cool $100. The gravy boat alone is in the $30 range from replacement catalogs.
