Writing prompt

Back in high school and college, I used writing prompts to jump start a story or play with voice. I don't really do that any more ... but I thought it might be fun to see what my awesome writing friends could do with a prompt. Wanna give it a shot? If so, here's your first line:

Where were you last night?

Rain poured down outside the small shop we were huddled in. Occasionally flashes of lightning seared our retinas, leaving afterimages of whatever piece of Disneyana we happened to be staring at. Having finished looking at everything twice, we moved to the next store, fortunately, at Downtown Disney, all the stores are connected, but it also paled. There are only so many stuffed Eeyores you can look at. Braving the elements, we ran to the covered bus depot, waiting for the motor coach to take us back to the hotel where we could dry off.
