It seems like when we're children, we never want to grow up to lead ordinary lives. Why would we? You see a choice between being stuck in a suit behind a desk and being a superhero on the telly, and really, it's doesn't take a genius to see which is more appealing to a child. It's interesting to me that I always tended to want more when I was ( Read more... )

I think you're gorgeous, and I like your outlook. Not everyone dreams of exciting things, but there are other things: adventure instead of peace, comfort instead of risk. I like it.

Wow, thank you, that's a lovely comment, you're gorgeous beyond belief. It's just nice to have found a calm in something I wouldn't have thought I would before, ta much.

First off, I really love that song.

In all my 37 years of life, I've found being boringly domestic to be the most exciting thing, which is fucking weird considering what it is. I guess that's just how it goes. I'm sure everyone goes through the time where they see how different life is from expectations. Like you, I'm pretty happy with how it's turned out.

I'm scared because this comment was oh so serious.

Mm, it's wonderful, yeah? I've been on a Gin Blossoms kick lately.

It's those damn adjectives like 'boring' that make it so shocking when people are actually happy in it. Then again, I guess it does just depend on the person. I'm glad you've found happiness in it as well.

Haha, serious comments are nice to give sometimes, aren't they?

So many of their songs were really awesome and prolific. I mean, like, every single one.

Ha, I guess we'll be the "boring" ones. Hey, it's common ground. We can all be boring and have wine parties while sharing pictures of our kids.

Sometimes. It doesn't happen often, so consider yourself lucky.

Life changes, aye. So as our expectations. Sometimes it can bring us down, sometimes it can get us high, but in a way, that's the magic of it.

Naturally. I doubt I'd find life so intriguing if it didn't bring me both ways. I think I need to write a post about you soon.

I know this is the first time I comment to you, hi. I thought I would comment with my favorite quote, as it seems quite suiting.

"Every passing minute is another chance to turn it all around."

This was a great entry. It's good to read someone with their feet well set on the ground.

Hi! I've almost commented to you a handful of times, but I'm a horrid commenter and it just passed me by. I like that quote a lot, it's a wonderful mindset to have. Ta very much, that's lovely of you to say.
