All that I am is all I can give, but with or without you my life I must live

I saw something recently that talked about character and how it’s gained, how it’s not something gained merely from experiences and wrong decisions, but from regretting those mistakes, accepting you’re wrong and moving past it. Feeling regret, essentially. It got me thinking about the last sentence of my last entry. I’ve had many times of just ( Read more... )

It's hard to put things behind, especially when you pin a lot of hopes on people or situations. Moving on doesn't trivialise anything, it just makes it alright for you to be okay. Does that make sense?

Anyway, if I didn't say so before, I'm glad to see your face again. That's a beautiful icon.

It does make sense, I think I get what you're saying just right. Moving on gets the reputation for being a departing thing so much, but I find it to be a more internal thing, it's just a point you have to be at with yourself, and it doesn't necessarily change circumstances.

Thank you, it's good to see your face as well. It barely looks like me, doesn't it? Thank you.

Which did you prefer? The Phantom or Raoul?

Hmm. At first the Phantom because, well, he's just so wonderful and interesting, I had a lot of fun being devious. A lot of my others friends who were into it as well (:-[) disliked Raoul a lot and coined him as a pretty boy, but I ended up liking him a lot and now he's one of my favourite characters.

The Phantom is still better than Raoul.

I promise to do all I can to prevent us from getting arrested. Even if we do we'll have fun breaking out. I've missed you.

I've missed you too. I don't know, Tim, I think with the two of us combined, we're far too cute to arrest.

I'm really not that interesting. I flirt a lot, too.

Well, I beg to differ on the first one. Do you now? Is that as the Phantom or as you?

Me, of course. Shall I make the moves on you?

Oh Gerard. Darling, you're going about it completely the wrong way. First you have to compliment my hair or something like that to show you find me attractive. Then you have to compliment something about my personality or my acting or whatnot to show me you're not completely superficial and you really do care about things other than appearance, then you have to suavely ask me to do something and only then, after a date or two, do you have the right of passage to make the moves on me. Of course, now that I've given the step by step, I wouldn't believe a word out of your mouth so it's just a rock and a hard place situation, isn't it?
