Your interlace cups are very nice! Of the three interlace cups, I like #1 and #2 a little better, probably because I like the slightly wider lines on the interlace more.
But of today's set of pottery, my favorite is the slip-trailed jags. :-) Too bad the blue and yellow melted into green. It's a fine moss-green but the blue and yellow sounds cooler.
Good to know, thank you! The glazes on the first two also did a much better job of highlighting the lines. Now I know better. :)
I'll be trying for yellow-on-blue again! If nothing else, I know from the beach bowl that persian blue plays nicely with david's clear, so taking the persian off the slip and covering it with clear is an option. I suspect the same would work with royal or velum, but I'm hoping one of the blues breaks nicely enough for the yellow to show through unaided, as that's soooo much easier. (I will put all kinds of work into decorating and carving, but I'm a lazy glazer. Go figure.)
