Yeah. So...I just saw Alexander. OMG! The first, wide-released, canonical slash movie ever. Excuse me while I hyperventilate.

That's better now. Okay, this movie was just...amazing, and horrible, and beautiful all at once.
So...my lj cut...(

You know, there isn't any real evidence that Alexander the Great was gay/bi/etc. You know that, right? The Greek people aren't pissed off for nothing. Alexander-The-Great had a few wives and a few mistresses and the only reason, I'm assuming, that people assume he was gay is because his best friend was a man. They travelled together a lot. That doesn't equal gay. As a matter of fact, at one point someone suggested that Alexander take one of the boys in a palace (sexually) and Alexander was disgusted with the idea. Besides, I think the Greek people would know a little bit more about their leaders than some 20 year old who watched a special on the History Channel.
I've seen a lot of good accurate stuff on the History Channel and also a lot of really inaccurate stuff of the History Channel.
~it does seem like a decent movie. i'm glad you liked it. :-) ~
