Oh Jim. Oh Bones. It's good to see Jim processing things and maturing. A healthy sense of self-preservation goes a long way. It took me a while to learn it myself. It's interesting reading that sort of epiphany in a character I care about.
And, of course, more foreshadowing about how Bones would have to cope with Jim being seriously injured on the job. Dramatic... anticipation...
What? You think there's foreshadowing in this story? ;) And, Jim's new understanding of himself and his job was one of the big things I wanted to do in this story--show him mature in many facets. As always, thanks for noticing and commenting on my "main idea."
Sooooo cute. But hahaha, our asses are safe...except from each other I died laughing. And then it was followed up by Len wanting to frolic in the snow, which I predict to be very interesting. Great chapter :)
As always good chapter, Len's talk to Pike was very interesting, it's good that pike has nothing against their relationship. Bones seeing his first snow, amazing. I see them both making snowangels or such crap. Looking for the next chapter.
And Jim is definitely growing up. I'm glad he realizes he's got nothing to prove to anyone, he's just awesome.
I'd love to read about the boys playing in the snow! My college roommate was from Florida and never really seen much snow, so when we got some (and Seattle doesn't get a lot) she just freaked. It was funny.
The snow scene won't be in the story, but I'm becoming increasingly tempted to write it as a one-shot, because it certainly would be cute! Glad you're enjoying; more soon!
