The pictures in this update are still on LJ, so that's why it might take long to load. I will change this, one day, and move it to photobucket.
She'd always been an easy-going girl, Inga. Never too serious, always happy and outgoing. But always corious, as to what was around the next corner, in another city or in other people. So one day, she'd just packed her bags with some basic stuff, sold her house and moved to Chesterstead to see what kind of adventures lay here.
I really do like this little town. It is small, but I've already met a few people greeting me to the neighbourhood. I had this crazy idea of opening a little shop, with kids' stuff, and people seemed really interested! So I took a loan and bought myself a little place!
This is my house! It's small, yes, but it has an upstairs with extra rooms so I can squeeze things in if I'd want to.
And here it is! Inga's Little Shop for Small People!
It's not much, but people came pouring in! We don't have any stores in Chesterstead, we have to travel to another town to do our shopping. So people were really happy to see something opening nearby!

petchy_14 I met a lot of people by having the store, one was a guy called Chef (by
petchy_14), he was so funny! We really hit off. He said he hoped there would be a restaurant opening in the town soon, he loved to cook!
I'd met this other guy, Hecktor, in the store. He seemed really nice, and we chatted online a few nights afterwards. One day I came home and decided to ask him to come over!
He brought his friend Abigail with him (she's apparently Chef's cousin). (Abigail is by
charterzard and is actually Chef's daughter from a Queen Bee)
I really liked Hecktor,
and maybe I kinda forgot Abigail was there :/ I hope she didn't get angry! Hecktor said I shouldn't worry.
We met a few times after that, it was stressful with the store and all to find time. But eventually, I asked him to move in. After all he'd begun to spend most of his time at my place anyway.
Hecktor by
petchy_14 It was fantastic to have some one there to share both my free time, and the store with. Hecktor is fantastic with the customers, and he knows a lot of people and make them come by. He gives them a few discounts and then they just love to buy stuff at our place!
Having been ill a few mornings, and feeling really weary at work, well...
I can't say I was surprised! Hecktor was really happy about it, which did sooth my nerves. I've never really pictured myself as a mum, but having finally found a place I like to call home, and someone to come home to; I guess babies wasn't too hard to imagine anymore!
We hired some help in the store.
Ruth by
charterzard It wasn't always easy on Hecktor, he did have a nervous break down one day when we hadn't been selling as much.
We hired Abigail too, but she said she wasn't too keen on working with baby-stuff, so she left one day.
One evening, we had a break in! Chesterstead doesn't have a police station yet, so they couldn't come here in time!
And the bastard stole the newly bought crib. I was angry for days!
And then, one early Monday morning, he came. Our little Klas!
Notes:
- Sunday evening, Hecktor bought his little community lot that will sell groceries. I think I'll call it "Groceries for Families", which is a lie because it's really tiny, but the name works.
- That allows me to add two CAS-sims, that I have actually already added to the hood, but I'll start playing them first during next "week"; Adam and Eve Dawson. Will be fun!
