Read by Week (Note: starting week 7 I made the game more Maxis Match, and I also began ageing up the children from teens when they're 20, not 27 as the game would have it. from week 10 I began playing this like a normal hood, rather than as a BACC.)

About house-names/am I reading this right?
My "original" houses will always keep their names. There will always be updates called Svedala, Dawes, McNulty, Clarke, Carter and so on. These entries tells the stories of the child that I see as "the heir". Then there will be double names; Svedala-Hayes is such a name. The Svedala-Hayes family consists of Klas Svedala and his wife, Rhianna Hayes. Hayes was not her last name, seeing as she is a townie she could simply had become just Svedala. But I want there to be double names, rather than this becoming "Svedala II". Now, whatever child who becomes "the heir" will continue to be Svedala-Hayes. The others will get new double names, starting with Svedala.

If two playable sims get together names become as follows: the "household" will keep its name. Like when Sarah Dawes moved in with Roxie Clarke. This was the original Clarke house, so the updates are called "Clarke". If they have a child, the child will inherit the name of Clarke if Roxie carries it or Dawes if it's Sarah who does. If Roxie never carries a child, one of the children will be "magically" changed to a Clarke, since the heir should always pass on the right last name.

If two sims who are not heirs move in together, they get a double last name for the time being. But when their child is born, it's the sim who carries him/her that will pass on his/her last name and "naming-theme" for first names. This means that mostly there will be inheritance on the female side, since hetero-couples are currently most common.

If you read this week by week, the houses will always show up in the exact same order, even if they "change names". There shouldn't be any problem either to read them by family, as they will always feature the names of their ancestor.
