Claudia was on her way back from a late night trip to the kitchen. There wasn't much else to do under quarantine other than visit the kitchen and try not to breathe.

Down the hall she stops a very familiar face. A smile breaks out across her face. She races toward him and tosses her arms around him, breathing a sigh of relief.

"You're OK! Way to not tell me you're back!"

She punches him lightly on the shoulder while still standing inside of his personal space.

"Did you find your friend?"

And there was a girl hugging on him. She seemed excited to see him, that was good, right?

Except she was asking him questions. Questions he had no idea how to reply to, because he didn't know the answers to them.

"Uh."

All right, maybe he could bluff his way through this.

"I, um. Just got here. A few minutes ago."

Oh, screw it. She obviously knew him, maybe she could help.

"Do you know me?"

Claudia stared at him. OK not fair, first he didn't remember who is is now he's not remembering who she was... Again. Maybe she could jog his memory. She'd have too. It's not like she could just hit him on the head again or something.

"Yeah, I know you. You don't remember me?"

He hesitated. He didn't want to admit anything, not when he didn't know anything. But if she was a friend, then she might have been able to explain what he was doing here, and why he couldn't remember who he was.

Really, he didn't know why he should be so suspicious. If he was here, he must belong there, right? And here was a girl who'd been happy enough to see him that she hugged him.

"No," he told her. "I - kind of don't remember anything."
