I spent a few days in the country and feel much better for it. In fact, I feel better than I have for the past few weeks, not counting the insect bites of course. My energy's back. I picked up a joke book for some bedside reading. Here's one.

Two attractive young employees of a dashing midtown magazine publisher were discussing his merits. "He's so good looking," enthused one, "and he dresses so well!" The other amended happily, "So quickly, too!"

Accentuating the Positive
I'm able to put a little weight on my ankle, my project with Beth is actually improving, the weather broke, there's good news on the front page for once, billminus30 managed not to get mixed up with his own ancestors, and I spent last evening with a charmer called Stanley.
I think things are looking up.
