As it turns out they had picked up an old tag for my brother's bike, and were looking for that. Problem is that they had told us that they couldn't work on my brother's bike until we had a piece welded and we took it home. Meanwhile I brought my bike down to have it worked on. They mixed up the tags and couldn't find "my" bike, while in reality my bike was finished and sitting in the back room ready for me to pick it up. We eventually sorted things out and I now have my bike back, with the original ammount of work finished coming to a grand total of $28.
I like your idea, however. Solar powered rockets... that's a good one.
