Yeah, so my bike has been at the shop for the past week. During that time they told me it would cost nothing to fix because I bought it from them and it only needed a tune up, then it needed new gears and was going to cost me at most 35 bucks. I get a call after that telling me that they were wrong, and that the derailer was bent, it needed new

Sweet jesus, are you serious?! Make them give you a new one. A better one. With rockets. Solar powered rockets.

Well yeah, I'm serious. For about 10 minutes after I hung up the phone I was absolutely sure that they had lost my bike.

As it turns out they had picked up an old tag for my brother's bike, and were looking for that. Problem is that they had told us that they couldn't work on my brother's bike until we had a piece welded and we took it home. Meanwhile I brought my bike down to have it worked on. They mixed up the tags and couldn't find "my" bike, while in reality my bike was finished and sitting in the back room ready for me to pick it up. We eventually sorted things out and I now have my bike back, with the original ammount of work finished coming to a grand total of $28.

I like your idea, however. Solar powered rockets... that's a good one.
