Trek Fest! Trek... Expo? Er... time machine, please?
Attention crew! Trek fest is ON! It will take place this year on the 24th and 25th of June.
However... it has just come to my attention that Trek Expo (in Tulsa, OK) is the same weekend.
Somewhere, the Gods of Geekery are mocking us.
So here's what I want to do: We need to start making plans. I know that not everyone can make it. I need to gauge INTEREST. I want to see how many people have ANY interest in doing a Trek-related road trip on the weekend of June 25th. Then, I want to see how many people will ONLY do EITHER Trek Fest OR Trek Expo, and how many people will do either one. So, the poll will serve two purposes:
1. I'll get a total anticipated head count for the weekend.
2. We'll get a preliminary decision of which destination appeals to the most crew members.
Your response does NOT obligate you. If you have any inclination to come along for one of these adventures, PLEASE vote in the poll! I want to plan this so that the most people can come, and so that this will be an epic weekend for all of us. And yes... I know... we have a personal connection to Trek Fest. I'm still talking to the organizers, and they're STILL trying to get Shatner. Somehow, I suspect that if Shatner decides to make good on his promise to Riverside, we'll be going to Trek Fest no matter what. But in the meantime... on with the poll!
