Yay Brianna got through. I wasn't expecting it since I though maybe her quirkiness wouldn't appeal but happily I was wrong. Yay!

I don't normally watch Aussie Idol but this time around I know one of the contestants: Brianna Carpenter. I meet Briannain 2002 in Brisbane when she was 16 and my mate was in a production of Fiddler on the Roof with her. I was blow away even back ten by her singing, she has a unique style. I'm feeling quite good today. I've donated blood, visited my nephew (did nappy duty too) and made dinner for my sister and brother-in-law. It's a long weekend (Queens "birthday" holiday), I had an excellent dinner and a superb glass of Shiraz.

Some days I feel lucky to be alive and I try not to take it for granted.
