That is very nice! It may be just a trick of the photos, but I would say it's equally nice when it's off, because you seem to be able to see the textures and the iridescence of the glass better.
I read somewhere that as you get older you really start to enjoy tertiary colours and the subtle contrasts between them -- that it's something to do with the way the rods and the cones in your eyes age. I don't know if that's true, but that sort of green is now my second favourite colour (after bright red ;-)
Thanks! It's quite hard with stained glass to make sure what you are making is nice when lit and when the light is off, particularly with opaque glass. I think that one works really well - some of the lamps I made when I was learning weren't so successful. It's my favourite colour too :)
Is Merlin legally allowed to be ten years ago? Goddammit, time, just give us a break will ya? So much of the last two years have seemed not to happen. I wish to register a complaint.
Icon: Tony Head finds the progress of time as annoying as I do.

Merlin was my last fandom and even after 10 years I’m still not over the end. Must do a rewatch some time.

Merlin is really enjoyable and there’s only the odd dud episode overall. I’m steeling myself up for the last episode ….
ETA it’s all on iplayer which is how I’m watching it.

I couldn’t believe the transmission dates of Merlin - it just doesn’t seem that long ago - the last series went out in 2012.

Goodness, maybe I should rewatch Merlin, too. There's a thought. I actually have the DVDs.

It's currently on iPlayer for free if you don't want to bother with getting out your DVDs. I'm rather enjoying my re-watch.
