Today started with a bang - literally. A little bird flew into the glass in the large bi-fold doors we have in the living room with a huge 'whack!'. Unfortunately for the stunned bird Lady was on the deck outside and looked most surprised when it fell at her feet. Of course, instinct kicked in and she immediately killed it. It was a good exhibition.

I think Lady thought all her Christmasses had come at once as the bird fell at her feet!

We’re going to the Van Gogh exhibition next week and I’m really looking forward to seeing what’s in the Courtauld too.

It is a really good exhibition and the catalogue is really good too - worth buying. I’m sure you’ll enjoy it.

DW seems so old fashioned after Lj.

I just found out you can stored photos on DW and post them from there. Profile page; Create; Upload images; and so on. Once loaded, you have to cut and paste the code into the post.

Yes I looked at that. It’s quite limited space and you have to upload each photo then insert into the post. Quite a faff. I’ll stick with copying and pasting my Lj code and if that goes away I’ll have to bite the bullet and do it even though it’s very clunky.

The van Gough's are haunting, but I like the Parmigianinos best.

And poor bird - at least it was unconscious when Lady grabbed it!
