I am so envious of anyone who's lived in another country. I'm mostly of Norwegian extraction, and I would LOVE to live in Norway. Definitely want to see Stavanger, which I guess is where my ancestors sailed from, and Rogaland, where they lived.

I find that the import of LJ to DW didn't work right for the tags. I'm having to fix "by hand." **sigh**

Stavanger has many hills and wooden buildings. It's mostly industrial now because of the oil industry, but it has pretty places too.

It took a bit of time to get everything across to DW hence the duplication, but I don't mind as I'm pleased it's all there.

I've backed up my LJ several times to DW over the years due to various scares and now I have quite a lot of multiple entries. I've never gone back to sort it out as it would take weeks but I hope most of it is there. I wish LJ Archive was still available too as Blogbooker is useful but doesn't look nice.

Oh no - sorting out the duplications would be horrendous over so much time, but I'm glad it's backed up as it means that everything is there. I do miss LjArchive - I wish someone would have fixed it so it would work as that was really good. I agree Blogbooker is a bit of a mess with the .pdf formatting (which annoys me, but not enough to do anything about importing into Word and fixing it).
