It's been a busy few days!

Friday - Mr Cee had the day off and we went to the Wallace Collection to see the Frans Hals: The Male Portrait exhibition. 12 stunning portraits by the same artist over the course of his career (which was very long - he lived until he was in his early 80s).  We loved it and for the first time since the beginning of the

Happy Birthday to Mr Cee.

I love the Wallace Collection and that is one of the exhibitions I have pencilled in to go to when we feel like it again. We saw an amazing Frans Hals in the Rijksmuseum and I was amazed at the way he painted lace with just a few brush strokes.

Sorry your friend in still in hospital but glad Boris is coping with the help of cuddles.

It’s well worth a visit and we enjoyed it. It was quite busy but everyone had masks on. We’ve seen Frans Hals everywhere so it was nice to see several all in one place.

Boris is a bit confused but he’s doing OK for a 19 year old dog.

I'm so glad you enjoyed the Hals! I thought it was brilliant, and shows how small exhibitions can show you so much.

I do hope your friend gets a diagnosis before long. Uncertainty is really difficult.

What a lovely day! Happy Birthday to Mr Cee! How good of you to take care of Boris. Apparently I missed a previous post as to what species Boris is, cat, dog, or goldfish! It's good of you all the same.

Boris is my friends 19 year old dog who is blind and quite deaf. He’s coping with being on his own remarkably well considering he’s not used to it. She’s been in hospital 5 days now so I hope it’s not much longer.
