I'm pretty sure that J and I have had the conversation in that cartoon :)
Glad the back is a bit better.
I have many of my old ladybird books on the shelf behind me as they were rescued from my mum and dad's attic and I didn't have the heart to get rid of them. Luckily I'm too old for phonics.
I've had the conversation in degrees - when the garden was first opened up to other people we cleared up the garden and the path round from the front of the house, but we didn't worry too much about indoors. Of course then family came over and now there's friends so I've had to be more house proud LOL!
It's a bit better but I really need to keep moving or it goes all still and uncooperative again :(
I've kept some of my old favourite books, but the Ladybird ones must have been got rid of by my parents. I have some of the boys old favourites though :)
I'm sorry your back is "talking" to you, as Dear Friend H. puts it.
Over the years, P. and DS have done a good job of presenting me with hardcover editions of various children's books, as mine did not survive the clean-outs after my parents divorced.
Thanks! My back is getting slowly better - I've done it so many times before so I know what to do. I'm just annoyed I don't take better care of myself LOL!
I have a lot of my childhood books, but not the Ladybird ones which I think got thrown out. I have kept favourite books I've read to my boys when they were small :)
