Nearly the end of the week.....

Thursday already! This week has gone past really fast - weirdly. We woke up early to rain, and it's been raining on and off all day (currently rather torrential). It's good for the garden, but I'm glad I went for my High Street wander yesterday ( Read more... )

I remember adding up minutes and seconds :) We didn't do it for a running order but had to make sure we had the correct timings for a CD. Luckily we eventually had electronic stopwatches that did it for us but in the early years it was calculations on paper. I'm not sure I could do it now either!

It was so automatic when we were in the studio that I’d forgotten how easy it became over time. I must admit occasionally in the middle of a recording of something long like a Shakespeare play I’d panic that I’d not done it right and spend my lunch break checking figures ....

I'll be interested in hearing how useful you find the DNA analysis, when you get your results. What can be done with DNA analysis these days is absolutely amazing.

Yes - I'm looking forward to my results. It should tell me how I process the different food groups so that I know what works best for me in terms of diet and exercise. I have a sneaking suspicion about some things (for example I think I need carbs in my diet otherwise I don't function very well) but it will be interesting to see the detail.

We had lovely weather yesterday - not often ours is better than yours :) Mind you, it is drizzling at the moment.

I always think your online art courses sound so interesting - but am then too lazy to do anything about anything similar : (

It's a drizzly day again today, and a bit colder. The usual in May I suppose :)

All the online courses I've done have been really good and I've enjoyed them, but then we've been far more restricted than you have so I've had to find something where I've been able to interact with people :D

I didn't know that the Royal Botanic Gardens were called Kew Gardens. My youngest son lives in a Queens town called Kew Gardens.

We always call them Kew Gardens rather than the Royal Botanic Gardens. I don't know why! LOL! There are a lot of duplicate names in the UK/US aren't there!
