Nearly the end of the week.....

Thursday already! This week has gone past really fast - weirdly. We woke up early to rain, and it's been raining on and off all day (currently rather torrential). It's good for the garden, but I'm glad I went for my High Street wander yesterday.

My morning started with me making a spinach and mushroom lasagne for lunch as it's Pilates day, so we have a more substantial lunch as I never feel like eating after intense exercise and if I didn't eat a good lunch I'd not have enough energy. I gave the kitchen a thorough clean at the same time which was satisfying. At 10.30 it was time for my Understanding Paintings online course - this week we looked at the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood.  Having done a course about this last year, and been interested in them for a long time it was interesting to have another 'take' on them from a different tutor. Our tutor on this course explained a lot more about their technique for painting which was really interesting. He also pointed out some items in some of the paintings which I'd not spotted before - so a very interesting 2 hour lesson.

Lunch was had and after that I sorted some paperwork and at 2pm I had the delayed meeting with Dave regarding the Nutrition course. Turned out I had a few lifestyle questions to answer and I had to just give my impressions of the course so far.  I haven't had my DNA results yet, but having found the course so interesting so far I asked Dave if I could get a DNA test kit for Mr Cee. Very kindly he offered me a massive discount for one which was rather sweet of him. So Mr Cee will find out how he processes different food groups too which will be handy for meal planning in the future.

The rest of the afternoon Mr Cee and I pottered around the garden. I had my last Pilates class online at 6pm which was tough as usual, and now we're relaxing watching a programme all about Kew Gardens.

Today's question is:  13. Can you do math in your head well?
Nope - I'm not very confident in maths (as we call it), but I can do it as long as I'm not rushed. It's practice really isn't it - many moons ago I had a job where I had to add up minutes and seconds against a running order and I was really good at multiples of 60. I doubt I could do it now.
