Yesterday I went to London to see the Van Gogh: Poets and Lovers exhibition at The National Gallery. It was an interesting exhibition bringing together many paintings that have rarely been seen as they are in private collections

Starry Night Over the Rhone is one of my favourite paintings as are all the variations of the Sunflowers. Van Gogh had a unique style and yet his work isn't really repetitive no matter how many sunflowers you see. I would love to see this.
It had a lot more, but there's a limit on how many photos I wanted to upload LOL! I thought all the paintings were really individual. You could see how his style slightly changed over the two years and was influenced by his artist friends. He was very prolific in those last two years.
