[Round 2]: [Accidental Audio/Action] [About three in the morning]

[Thud!]

N-no... nnn... get--... don't touch-- ! Let go--!

[Kazuma's D-comm has been knocked off the nightstand, causing it to turn on to him tossing about, voice panicked and sounding almost like he might be in pain. For a few seconds he stops crying out, panting heavily,  but its starts up again. Louder this time.]

Stop it! You can't-- ! NO! LET GO

[ Doumeki had moved her, but she heard him scream and came rushing in, trying to get a hold of his hands. ]

Kazuma-kun! Kazuma-kun, wake up, wake up!

[kazumaking]

[Kazuma keeps thrashing about, his eyes closed but tears pouring down his cheeks. He screams again, throwing his arms like he's trying to fight something off of him.]

H-he won't wake up! Why won't he wake up?!

[ this is starting to scare her. a lot. but she won't give up. she promised him she would help him when he got like this ...

she tries to reach for his hands once more, tries to entwine their fingers and get a good hold on him. ]

Kazuma-kun, please, wake up! Calm down, it's ... i-it's me. I'm here, I'm right here!

[he's still fighting back, but luckily he doesn't throw her off or accidentally hurt her. His screams fade but he's still sobbing uncontrollably.]

K... Kazuma...

[Rolls over and pulls the pillow over his head, still half asleep. After a few more minutes he heard Lopmon yelling and sat up, blinking.]

Shizuka...?

[Shakes Doumeki's shoulder lightly as he rubs his eyes and finds his glasses before getting out of bed.]

[Doumeki lets out a little 'let me sleep' groan, until he realizes some one is screaming, which causes him to sit up with a start]

... wh--... is that... ?

[craaaap. Getting out of bed, too, running to the other room.]

[Follows Doumeki a little slowly, not really sure what to do, or even what's going on.]

Is...is that Ikezawa-kun?

I think so...

[pushes the door to Nadeko's room open, seeing Nadeko trying to comfort the boy but obviously failing. He's still not awake, though he's stopped screaming.]

Nadeko-chan, what's going on?

[Is still up for God knows what reason.]

It sounds like he's having a pretty traumatic nightmare...you might have to try water or something to wake him up. But be careful. He could hurt you or himself if you get too close.

[poor Lopmon is too freaked out to think clearly]

B-but why won't he wake up?!

My best guess is that his mind is stuck in whatever dream he's having. He may be too scared to deal with anything else, so his body isn't letting him wake up.

Do you know if he - Kazuma, right? - went through any kind of trauma? Something that would cause him to have bad dreams like this?

I-I don't know! He's new! H-he doesn't really talk about himself!

H-his friends are here, but... [poor Lopmon is so freaked.]

Safe to say that this boy has some heavy trauma going on... Scarily heavy.

Unfortunately we don't know hardly anything about him... I have no idea what brought this on.

... I have the power to enter another's dreams, and can take some influence over the dream to provide some therapy, but I swore not to do so unless they permit it, or it is highly probable that the result would otherwise be death.

Perhaps speak with him on this?

... you can try, but I'll warn you. He's a thirteen year old boy. The chances of him willingly being open about anything is pretty slim.
