The hike up the mountain was somewhat refreshing, I have to admit. The higher you go, the clearer things became. It was actually beautiful from up there.

[Police Filter:]Ms. Sciuto, I've got your samples. I'm sending them over to your department as we speak. Ten in total. Five soil samples at 1000 ft each, four plant samples, though some may ( Read more... )

How hard was the trek up the mountain?

It wasn't too difficult though like on any mountain it was tougher to breathe up higher.

So it's like any other mountain then...unless there's a slew of monsters up there like The Underground and forests.

Find anything interesting up there?

I suppose it would depend on what you consider interesting.

Anything that you would find interesting, then. After all, our definitions may differ.

A patch of fur though it's not surprising considering those deities.

You are amazing.

I'm glad you approve. Though it's not to say it'll bring good news.

You totally need to learn about what is good news for a Forensic Scientist.

Then what is considered good news?

[She had stumbled on the Hall of the Missing by accident in a general walk around the City. Elisabeth hasn't been here before, nor is she aware of what the portraits represent. But they are beautiful likenesses, and she's been quite enjoying just looking at them. Until she sees his portrait hanging there, and the blond glaring at said portrait. Her eyes narrow as she stops.]

Why would anyone want a portrait of him?

[Her tone is bitter, but it's a false bitterness, a front to show how much she doesn't care. And yet, and yet, with the safety of it just being a portrait she can't help noticing the strength of purpose, the intensity of the eyes that draws her even as she tries to deny that draw. A sigh]

It is a nice portrait though. I wonder if I could commission the artist...

[Haruka's eyes averted towards the lady when she spoke and a devious smirk pulled across her lips as she let out a disgusted sigh. Exactly. Who would want to place a portrait of him? She couldn't agree more though what connection did she have with him? Perhaps another victim relieved to see him gone? The blonde was about to make a remark when she hears the following and holds her tongue. Her expression slightly faltered to a serious one though she kept her tone playful to get the information she wanted as she looked back up at the portrait again.]

It's a shame it's up there. Did you know him?

[At the question, Elisabeth raises an eyebrow as she gives the blond a polite, yet tight smile.]

Oh I have known him

[Again, the bitterness, though more honest this time. He had been nothing but an annoyance after all}

Are there portraits of us all here?

[Her honest tone put Haruka more at ease. At least there wasn't a likely chance that she was working with him. She looked towards her with a small smile of her own and crossing her arms when she realized the woman had no clue what the portraits meant. Her next reaction should be interesting.]

No. Only the portraits of those who left this world are placed here.
