Okay, one, I think that Rachel is a bad example. I think that she has te ability to take any situation and make it stressful and be miserable. I love her, but it is one of the things that she could work on. Second. I agree that you are probably the best type of person to be a stay at home mom because you are independent and you have your own interests, as well as interests that mesh with your husbands. 3) How do you want to pursue your art? I think this is where the whole what makes you happy thing comes in. And with respect to God, I think he gives us desires and passions for a reason. To say that God just wants us to be happy is really kinda silly, or at least simplistic. There are always going to be trials and tribulations and our happiness is often transient and dependent on the littlest things. Joy is as much about attitude as it is about our circumstances. But while there will always be periods of suffering in the Christian life, there's a difference between hard times that build character and strengthen our faith and misery that exists as a result of not fulfilling our passions and desires. I have started writing this post a total of 4 times now because I would start then realize I didn't have a clue as to what I should tell you. I don't know what to tell you, because I kind of have the same questions. I don't want to go to school only to never use my degree because I'll be too busy being a mommy. I agree that it is good to have something to fall back on, so I think you should finish school so you will always have that ace in your pocket. But then I think you should step back and take some time to do the Starbucks thing and see if that feels "right"... or if you can't be happy unless you are teaching. Because then if you want to go back to that, just whip out your ace and you're ready to go. I guess, in my opinion, you should finish school because you have come so far already.

I really wish I could have been more helpful, but it's a quandary I am ill equipped to advise on :S. *sends an e-hug*
