I'm glad you're okay! I have an unhealthy fascination with tornadoes and severe weather in general, but I'm glad there were no fatalities and only one injury. That house and tree are amazing.

aren't they! I heard about it from coworkers first, but then going over and seeing it in person was really something. not a sight I'm used to seeing in New England.

I remember Hurricane Bob; I was at summer camp. I was very disappointed because the cabins wouldn't have had power anyway, and I missed a week of barbeques and candlelit board games at home.

I know that the eastern seaboard has always gotten occasional tornadoes, but it still just doesn't seem right.

me too! losing power for 11 hrs is peachy compared to some of the alternatives.

oh I know. things are in process for getting federal aid for those who got hit, so hopefully that'll go through.
