If my luck holds out - as well as my connection - I should complete the set with a sparkling new Donkey glass this time tomorrow.

Don't want to spoil your fun but I heard about a recall on those glasses -- something to do with the paint. You might google it. Hopefully it's just a hoax or something.

Actually, it's not a hoax. There is cadmium in the paint on the outside of the glass. I had purchased 2 prior to the recall & just wasn't fast enough to get the others.

The concern is especially for young children who have been known to put anything in their mouths &, I guess, might actually lick the outside of the glass. The level of cadmium is slightly higher than is safe for youngsters.

Gee, I haven't actually licked a glass in a very, very long time. (Why is it all I can think about now?)

Don't use it to hold drinks -- there's a recall for them because of high levels of cadmium in the decorations -- they're no longer for sale at McD's
