I know I sound like a broken record, but I really do love you and this story. I'm on pins and needles waiting to find out what happens next.

I got weepy reading it, you do such a good job of evoking emotions with the story. I stand in awe of your ability to turn out fic while being so busy with the rest of your life!

And I also sound like a broken record (or a skipping CD), but that means a lot from someone whose every story I love.

I am not a great plot writer... this story is my first fanfic to have a real plot-type-thing, so the dialogue and emotional effect is where I pour myself. I am so glad you like it!

A very moving chapter. I particularly enjoyed all the Xander scenes; I love him when he's portrayed as being more "grown up." Thanks for updating!

Thank you, Mistress Editor! Seriously, I appreciate the feedback from a seasoned vet (how many stories have you written this summer?) I also prefer Xander flawed yet grounded. He's adorable that way...

Kelly, I feel terrible for not reviewing this since like chapter 3 because I really really love this story.

There's a lot I want to say...and I'll try to go back and give some specific feedback...like for the chapter with the sex and after the sex because those left me stunned.

For now I'll just say that you are doing a really great job. I totally empathize with Xander's blow up at Buffy. I feel for Buffy and her position in the middle of Giles and Riley.

She let her mouth linger at his ear and whispered, “I love you too.” With a last glance, she left him.

I can't wait for the next chapter.

I am totally conflicted with this story (I am a bit of a Riley fan). This is good. I love stories that take me through a range of emotions. Very well done.

I feel bad for Riley too, though his story is not over... I never thought he was a bad guy, he just wasn't right for Buffy. Well, he was more right than Angel or Spike but I know you'll take me to task on that one!
