I was always fascinated by Lady Deathstrike (her comics name, apparently). She was obviously one of Stryker's victims, and I desperately wanted her to break free and kick him in the head, but nooooooooooooooo it was all about Wolverine.
I wanted her to get free, too! The plan was, after she's stuck on the log a while, a storm come and floods her loose and she crashes into a ship and sinks it, then Magneto comes and carefully pulls all the metal out of her in bits and pieces so she can regenerate, and then she runs off back to her condo and spends a couple of months gracefully skulking around the place, glowering at her kitchenware.
and obv she had a hideously complicated backstory that was equally horrible and gross and kinda cool. :D
