Thank you so much for the translation! :D DiZ seems a lot meaner in the manga, perhaps in part because the game doesn't have translators' notes. Poor Roxas. ;____;

I have a question about Namine's You'll be the way you were before (pg 16). Is she referring to when he was still part of Sora? When I read that I thought of the Organization Roxas as being "the way he was before," but that wouldn't really make sense. >>;;

You're right about Namine's line, it is referring to Sora. The word she uses there, which we translated as before, is 'moto', which is 'origin, foundation'. Basically she's saying that he'll go back to what made him, the origin of Roxas -- Sora. There's no effective way to render that in English, so we chose "the way you were before."

You don't know me, but I stumbled across your translations, and I wanted to thank you for doing them. I've really enjoyed getting the chance to read 'em, and your notes at the end of the chapters especially. Thank you both very very much! n_n

Poor Roxas! He really does get the short end of the stick throughout the story. T_T But I'm kinda glad Riku refused to "erase" Namine...I just can't see him doing that, especially considing everything that went down in CoM. Also DiZ is a lot more obviously Dark(tm) in the manga - down right cruel, really. It makes me wonder what would've happened if Riku hadn't stuck around to do all his dirty work. >.>;
