I am home, hurray! I have my own bed instead of having to sleep on a couch! I have my own food (OMG, skim milk, I missed you!) and my own computer with a functioning monitor and a fast Internet connection. I don't really want to do a year in review thing, because pretty much nothing happened to me at all this year. And I have only one resolution for 2008: get out of this damn rut my life has fallen into, so maybe I'll have something to actually look back on this time next year.

What I've done today so far: Besides some reading/writing at home, I went out to Best Buy to pick up a couple Christmas gifts, then went into lab for about an hour to store cell cultures. Happy Fourth of July! I am celebrating by not going to work. It would be incredibly difficult, anyway, as it seems the buses aren't running today. Oh, well, no real loss there.
