1. Community pimping:

getyourwordsout is now taking pledges for 2010! getyourwordsout is an LJ comm where you pledge to reach a certain word count for the year (there are six different pledge levels) and then track your goal throughout the year. I'm not sure my computer can even *go* to ff.net. It thinks it's a malware site or something. I get red buttons flashing saying "Danger Will Robinson".

I'll admit, the posting limits on lj frustrate me, but that's why I have a dw journal. ;-)

Exactly. Every time I click on a link that leads to ff.net my browser is just like, "oh god what is this I don't even." And it's not like I'm surfing around with IE 4 or something. I've got the most recent versions of Firefox and Google Chrome.

The post limit is a good point. I guess I've never posted a fic that was too long for one LJ post. But I totally don't mind stories split up between entries. I know some people do, though.

Good job on meeting your goal for the year.

I am not in Psych fandom oddly enough. I just read everyone else's thoughts and post mine and sometimes follow the writers and official account on twitter.

I agree though, it is Shawn/Gus and all of them. Even though those two are the stars, I really like them as an ensemble.

I'm not really in the fandom, either, but I look for fic sometimes and it's almost all Shawn/Lassiter, which is so baffling.

I totally feel ya on the fic posting thing althought mine's a bit different. I'm tired of people posting their fic exclusively on messageboards. I can't *stand* reading fic on messageboards.

And, yeah, I noticed that about the Psych newsletter. I just joined this fandom but I'm surprised. I figured Shawn/Juliet would be all the rage.

Honestly, I expected most of the fandom to be either Shawn/Juliet or Shawn/Gus. But Shawn/Lassiter? Where did that even come from?
