This year, I'm basically writing a bunch of my memories of my childhood so it's gonna be a bit of everything... and what I remember may not be what everyone else remembers. LOL!! Should be fun though.

Ha. I kind of answered your poll. I'm definitely not doing NaNo this year, but katilara and I are trying to start writing in November and have been talking about having some sort of word count goal. So, it's kind of like doing NaNo.

It definitely counts. It's really all just about getting the writing done, even without all the "official participant" stuff (even though that's fun, too).

Good luck with the steampunk novel; it sound like it's going to be really good.
