National Novel Writing Month
It's October 1st, and that means only one month until NaNoWriMo!
So, as has kind of become tradition in this journal (this will be my fifth year participating) this is going to be kind of an information/resource post. First, though, a poll:

Okay, I haven't been to the main site today, but considering it's October 1st it's probably crashed from the number of people signing up (like it does every year). But my username on the forums is Ahryantah, so feel free to add me once the site comes back.
I won't post much NaNo-related stuff to this journal because I have a journal I use only for that: ahryantah. It's friends-only and I'll be posting NaNo thoughts as well as the actual novel there.
I also have a blog here that I use to ramble about NaNo stuff, too, though I don't post any actual writing there.
Other stuff:
This is my favorite word meter.
Another easy-to-use word meter.
Other word tools like a writing report card, random word generator, etc.
And! The official site has a Twitter this year.
