Okay, so I've been playing Soul Calibur 3 on anti_phonics 's PS2. It's been fun. I'm trying to master Ivy, mainly because her voice reminds me of Integra Hellsing.

Have you heard the Japanese voice for Ivy? It's SEXY. Sexy in a non-scary-dominatrix way.

Well, consider it this way, if you start out with Japanese voices, you're already going to like the Japanese better, as that's the voice you assign to that character in your mind, so if you hear a different voice coming from her it's going to automatically sound wrong to your brain.

I've switched between both, English and Japanese, and found that I like the Japanese better. *shrug*

Also, EFF YOU FOR PLAYING IVY. I HATE THAT WOMAN AND HER FREAK SWORD. D< IF YOU PICK UP VOLDO TOO I'LL KILL YOU.

Mk, I'll have to listen to the Japanese voice for Ivy. >.> You're right though, it's a bigger issue than just the game itself, it's what people are used to. Pfffbt. I'm convinced there are way too many elitists running around who prefer the Japanese because they think they're supposed to or because liking the Japanese makes them better somehow. It's like "I hate my own language and think it sounds dumb" or something. And that's just idiocy.

Um, why do you hate Ivy? Because she's so versatile? Beautiful? Powerful? XD

I hate Ivy 'cause she's a bitch! >< Her damn sword makes me rage! XD WOMAN BE ALL UP IN MY SPACE FROM THE OPPOSITE SIDE OF THE STAGE WITH HER SKANKY ASS LEOTARD AND HER FREAKY ASS WHIP-SWORD. (Though I do LOVE her Olde English looking costume) XD I think I have the same reaction to Ivy as most have to Zorin Blitz when they encounter her XD ( ... )
