The Eurovision final is on in Helsinki tonight, so we're getting in some lovely country relevant food (eg olives for Greece, baguette or cheese for France, Turkish delight for well...who else but Turkey! etc...) and letting the kids stay up late. Should be fun! We even found a bottle of rather cheap looking Romanian wine. ESC has become an excuse

Well, ESC is over. What a cock up. Fun to watch, but what was with the bloody voting for the Elton John lookalike there? Bloody awful stuff. Thought Finland rocked the house in a surprising fashion, and so did Bulgaria and Slovenia. Les Fatales Picards were great, with Gulnar in a pink shirt LMAO

Oh yes the Mission!! I forgot about them ;-) You know, I never got a chance to really appreciate the Mission! I can remember one song off TOTP, hang on, let's think here...Eloise? Sisters are brilliant - loved Flood and Vision Thing, my favourite song has to be Logic. I remember we went to see Sisters downtown in about 1990 for VT, they played at the old Opera house - balconies, old decor the whole bit. It really fit in well with the theme of Sisters for some reason. Until the asshole next to me puked on my leather jacket LMAO Oh and typical Andrew Eldritch move - refused to do More and the crowd was quite incensed LMAO
