My submission for maxis_taste: Dare #24 . ... Mortimer Goth
This was it. He was on the cusp of a revelation. Mortimer had been secretly toiling at this his whole life. The key to immortality was finally within his grasp. According to his calculations and research conjectures, he would have to consume the life force of others, but not much--a small sip would sustain him for quite a while. He would be stronger, more handsome, more charming.
And here it was. Just this potion and he would live forever. Able to enjoy time with his family again and also to gain more knowledge. Always more knowledge...
When he awoke, he was confused. Then it came back to him, he should be immortal! He pulled himself off the floor and towards the mirror in his small laboratory.
He wasn't supposed to have a reflection. He felt as if his body had decomposed instead of gotten stronger. And he felt hungry, far hungrier than he anticipated. He felt like he could consume an entire fellow sim -- not just their blood, but their flesh and body as well. More specifically, he craved their brains!
"What is this monstrosity I've become?! Noooo!"
His moaning voice echoed through the empty house.
Morty as a zombie:
I spent hours decorating the Goth manor too, but my main objective was turning Mortimer into a zombie. I have a small story to go with this, but I haven't quite finished it yet.
