Oh, I really liked the one where Trickster's attempt at birthday surprise for Piper went horribly wrong thanks to the repeated attempts of the other rogues to rob a new exhibit at the museum.
Oh man I nearly forgot about that one XDkatzedecimalDecember 16 2011, 01:19:56 UTC
All in all, it wasn't a bad way to spend a birthday. It could have been worse. It had been worse, thinking of the time he'd been grounded after pounding the piano and singing off-key at the tops of his lungs to make the guests leave from the ridiculously ostentatious society party his parents had thrown, theoretically for him but really for themselves.
He felt sorry for the museum though. Their humidity and temperature controls had to be fritzed, what with the ice melting and the heat gun blasts playing havoc. Digger throwing the Tyrannosaurus femur was pretty good though, the guards looked so surprised. Nobody could figure out why Desmond was so convinced that the Triceratops coprolite was a twin to his alchemical potato, but Piper wasn't about to tell him what he was actually waving around while screaming about turning the Flash's blood to mercury in his veins

Just barely before Flashpoint, probablykatzedecimalDecember 17 2011, 16:59:57 UTC
Some faint sound made him look up. Barry bolted at super-speed for the other side of the chamber as the giant block slammed down, missing him by mere centimeters. Now he was trapped, his heaving chest brushing the side of the block with each panting breath. If I hadn't heard it scrape, I'd be a smear now, he thought, watching helplessly as the enormous serrated wall went on to chew through the office towers of downtown Central City. He was shaking. I miss the old Trickster. When he tried to kill me, he wasn't serious about it.

"Yes."
"Of the United States. That president."
"Yes."
"Who has been kidnapped by ninjas."
"Yes."
"Who is Lex Luthor."
"Yes."
"Lex Luthor has been kidnapped by ninjas."
"Yes."
"Lex Luthor, who is president of the United States, has been kidnapped by ninjas, and you want me to rescue him."
"You have a remarkably astute understanding of the situation, Mr. Trickster."
"Aaaaaand you chose to pick on me why?"
"You were bad enough to challenge the Flash. You were bad enough to challenge Booster Gold. You were bad enough to challenge the Devil himself..."
"How'd you know about that?"
"Are you bad enough to challenge this too?"
"Sorry, I've reformed."

I like how your writing has so much emotion in it even with few words.
