Oh, this is so sweet. I really like the range in Tonks's emotions, from being so frustrated that she picks a fight with old Walburga (that's a fantastic detail, by the way!), to Remus settling her down with his cuppa, to that lovely shared smile.

Thanks :) The image of her shouting down the portrait just made me giggle and I knew I had to write it! I just thought that she must have been so frustrated playing the good little Auror when she knew the truth and would have to let it out somehow, why not at the old bat?? lol!

I've been so excited to see some new R/T cropping up. I love that Tonks goes looking at Grimmauld for sympathy! Pn a sort of related note, saw the long lines already forming at my local theater for the midnight showing of HP. Think I shall wait a week!

Thanks :) I like to think that at this point she, Remus and Sirius were really good close friends and she would turn to them, plus they're among the only people she could actually be honest with.
