Oh Donna. So close to tasting what really happened and yet so far. I really, really wanted her to remember.

Thank you so much for this.

Thanks, I'm glad you liked it!

It's so sad for Donna isn't it? To be so close but so far :( I really hope there's somewhere inside that remembers what's she's done and how awesome she is!

That last line is so vital to Donna's character. I love that you punctuated the drabble with it. Can we hope that in the future her past that has gone missing can safely come back to her?

Thank you -- you really got Donna down here. (Especially how she explains it all as being over-involved in sci-fi flicks ♥)

Thank you! I'm pleased you liked it!

Donna's such a mix because she's so gossipy and somewhat shallow on the surface but there's so much more to her inside. I do hope she remembers someday (as long as it doesn't make her head all explodey!)! Thanks again!

Ooooh. My Doctor Who knowledge extends to all of one episode and I don't know Donna, but from the perspective of a canon outsider like me, this is such a chilling drabble, because it's easy to glimpse all the fantastic backstory behind it and all the character in the forefront. This line especially made her feel real to me, with both the friends and Donna's locked-out-ness: It had become a running joke with her friends; Donna sleeping as the world ends. And that line is definitely like hitting the real world and banishing all the dreams and whispers of the night.

Oh thanks for reading and commenting when you don't know that much about the canon! I'm really (extra) pleased you liked it!

What you need to know about Donna is, she's a thirty-something temp who lives with her mum and granddad. She travelled with The Doctor for a while and she was awesome and saved the universe. Then something happened, an accident, and she got some Time Lord DNA in her head but the human body can't handle it so The Doctor had to wipe her memories or she'd die and she can't ever remember or her head will explode or something.
