Thank you! That is high praise indeed and I'm so pleased you liked it! One of the reason I've always hesitated over writing Lizzy before is because I've read a few of those books and fics that don't really get it and it made me nervous. Maybe I'll give it a proper go sometime!

What a difference a change in attitude makes! ;) I like what this shows about Elizabeth, and how she's changed. My very favorite line is probably: Her eyes touched each tree and flowerbed with the beginnings of affection -- the "beginnings of" really makes it.

Thanks! I'm pleased you liked it! Especially the "beginnings" line :) I think at this moment she likes the estate, is fond of it because of Darcy and their meetings there but she's not yet grown to love it but she will :)

This drabble is wonderful ♥ I love how it's centered on Pemberly--it says a lot about Elizabeth that she's the sort of character you can pin down via an estate without the least hint of mercenariness, y'know? And I agree with shimotsuki about that line.
