Apparently while I was going through my massive CC redownload spree, I took out my hair folder...and didn't put it back in. So when I loaded up the game, everyone had a different hairstyle.
I was quite pleasantly surprised at how fitting all the inadvertant makeovers were.
Okay, so Q looks better without static glasses, and Paragon's awesome fro is gone...but he's exploding kibble? That's something!
I can't imagine a single thing about this picture that makes a serenade romantic right now.
Butler: Pahdon me, sah. But your son has wet himself and I must change his nappy.
Q: Can you say, "Q is better than mommy?"
Ball of Stink: Your armpits taste like candy! :D
Yet another victim of accessory removal.
By the way, this? This was the last straw.

With Henry newly single, I felt it was time for Polona to claim him.

Wow, more important stuff all ready! As you may have guessed, I didn't take many in between pictures. My game was getting glitchier and glitchier, and I just wanted to play less and less.
This is Ritualia (I think).
And this might be Necro? Maybe I got them switched.
Dervish grew up to be a most adorable child.
And Mesmer is not only cute, but she has CHIYO CHAN TAILS.
Now, I'm terribly sorry for the huge gap here. I didn't forgot to turn PrintScreen on or anything, I just cheated. I wanted to get everyone to teenhood so I could extract them and put them in the new neighborhood after my reinstall. So, here they all are:
Dervish.
Mesmer.
Elementa.
Paragon, who I am SO DISAPPOINTED IN. I REALLY wanted to get a different mix of genes (ie, dad's nose and mom's lips, not vice versa). D:
This is Ritualia, who I think is every bit as exotic as her name. ^_^
And Necro, who has sexy Spock eyebrows but is essentially a clone of his dad.
With that, it was time for college, in the new neighborhood! I love the "choose household name" feature. XD
Also, since the kids essentially didn't get a childhood, I am playing them through the whole ~college experience~. After all, the younger ones, I barely know at this point.
Because Polona was the only adult I had installed at the time, she has the dubious honor of being "mother" to all the kids of this gen.
And Dervish has the honour of being The Cutscene'd One.
Dervish: Congrats on making it here with us, Ritualia!
And then, it was time for makeovers...again. Much to my dismay, as I'd spent a decent amount of time making them over as teens in CAS...sigh.
Dervish! To me, her look just screams "efficient and bitchy". XD Also, I apparently neglected to give her the alien eyes she was born with.
Elementa. Being the youngest of Henry's kids, she's probably got some issues about standing out. Also, will not be surprised if suspiciously pale classmate freaks out upon seeing her and neglects to come to school for days afterwards.
(why yes, I did see Twilight, can you tell? Figured if I was going to obscurely reference it anyway, I might as well actually SEE the darn thing)
And Tidus-haired Necro, whose Spock eyebrows have totes won me over. And actually he's a much better mix of his parents than I gave him credit for. Rowr.
Ritualia, despite being named after one of my favourite classes, is kind of The Boring One. I don't mean to, but I just can't quite get attached to her. :( Poor girl.
And Mesmer is the most doll-faced, adorable one of the bunch.
Necro's first autonomous action essentially since toddlerhood was to start a painting. ^_^
Ritualia's was to trump herself at chess.
And Dervish's is to mercilessly imprison hapless innocent butterflies in a jar with no holes in the top. D:
I see her and Q getting along.
College-level homework is hard when you haven't even attended elementary school.
Elementa continues with the loner goth behaviour by deeming reading in bed her all time favourite activity. At this point I'm not sure she's talked to anyone she's not related to, ever. And she doesn't get on well with most of her siblings.
Necro: Goddamn overachieving sister/cousin thing...
Ares Randolph: WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING, SPYING ON ME AND MY WIFE?!
Mesmer: I...couldn't help it...you don't even have four walls!
Ares: This sort of behaviour is unacceptable, and I will NOT tolerate -
Mesmer: I'm in my happy place...the sun is shining! The baby birds are chirping! No one is yelling at me...
Ares: I give up. I'm going back to my legacy.
Mesmer: Oh, hello, little deer! What's that? You hurt your hoof? Let me help you...
