Where does the time go?  I haven't visited/posted since October!  So much has happened since then...

The year ended with the loss of my grandmother...it was absolutely heartbreaking, but I'm getting along...  I miss her everyday and I probably always will, but God always has a plan...  I know she's okay.

So it's been awhile since I've written anything...again somewhat uninspired, but also very very busy--life tends to fly by for me.

I went to florida with Melissa.  That was fun!  Hanging out with Charlie is always a good time.

Why am I lacking for inspiration?  I have been neglecting this journal because I haven't had much to say.  I've had a handful of visitors throughout June and it's been great, but somewhat tiring.  Missy is coming tomorrow, and frankly I'm estatic!  It has been way too long since I've had some quality time with her.

Today I officially became a New Yorker.  Now I just have to wait for the awful driver's license photo to appear in the mailbox--I haven't seen it yet, but I know it can't be good!

So last week my sister came and spent some time with me.  It was fun.  We saw RENT, ate chocolate, went to the ballet, ate pommes frites, went shopping, ate a grody pretzel/hot dog (yum), explored Central Park, ate in little Italy, and went exploring the Fleet Week festivities...  Good times ( Read more... )

I recently wore similar outfits to work on different days (jeans/tank top/sweater) but I changed the shoes.  The first time I wore my tennis shoes and the second time I wore a pair of wedges!  It made a difference.  Although I had the exact same outfit on with a different top everyone said I looked nice or made a comment to me about how great I ( Read more... )
