Is there some way on Tumblr to block a specific person's posts on a specific subject? I know it's possible to block subjects in general, and as for people, it's easy enough to unfollow, but if you want to read everything EXCEPT a certain subject

But wouldn't that cover all of their posts, rather than just the one topic?
Someone once called Amy a submissive wife and I laughed.
I think what gets me about that kind of criticism is that it misses the point so spectacularly. There's plenty of legitimate criticism to throw at Moffat, but when it comes down to "all his women want is to get married!" and "All of Amy's clothes are sexed-up!" and other things which are just patently untrue, I just lose all faith in fandom.
So now, as soon as somebody goes on a generic rant about Moffat, I hit the back button right away.
(Jekyll was another case... I mean, at least there I can kind of see where they're coming from, but really, six surviving, badass women is sexist writing compared to what? The original book with pretty much no women at all, or the musical with the fiancée and the prostitutes?)

Yeah, that's the problem, isn't it? Especially since I'm following Breakfast at Czar's, which is bound to mention him.
But yeah, it's kind of over the top to call Moffat sexist because he married off one of his companions.
I think Moffat works from some sexist assumptions sometimes, and he has a tendency to say pretty stupid things in interviews, but the criticism so very rarely seems to pick up on his actual trends with women. (For instance, he really, REALLY fancies bossy women who belittle their boyfriends, which, while a trope I kind of like, isn't without problems.)

I wish Tumblr had more capabilities in this way. And that people would do a cut-line sometimes.
