Maria Hill is a dressage horse. Ferociously disciplined, fast as hell when she needs to be and can kick your skull in if you get on her bad side.

But what's Loki? Since you've already used cats, he can't be one... :)

Loki is a snake, obviously. :-) Or a bee, possibly - he may give you honey, but he'll sting you even if it kills him, and only the puppy is dumb enough to get too close.

Heh. The thing that struck me about Maria Hill in The Avengers is that she was so obviously the person who keeps her head while all about her are losing theirs. She and Natasha need to have some quiet time to talk about that. :)

I tend to think of Loki as the mongoose in the equation, rather than the snake?
