Valhalla nods to Muppets, Conan, and of course Thor

My collected edition of Valhalla albums 1-3 has arrived, and I'm loving it immensely. If I ever get a scanner, I'm very tempted to make a scanlation of Thor's Bridal Journey, because it's just as awesome as I remember.

I really need to reread the Valhalla albums, since I remember them being really funny and still true to the sagas.

It's been a while since I read most of them (and some I haven't read at all), but judging by these three they are very funny, and very well researched. True to the sagas sort of depends - some of the adventures are new and only use the old sagas for background or to fill out the pieces. In this album, only Tors brudfärd is directly based on an old saga.
